Jaime Thwaytes, FNP

Family Nurse Practitioner

  • Integrative Primary Care Team

Background & Credentials

Jaime Thwaytes received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University in 2007. Over the next several years, she worked as a registered nurse across Florida, California, and New York, caring for critically ill patients in cardiac, surgical, and cardiothoracic intensive care units.

Her time at the bedside deepened her understanding of the vital connection between physical and mental health. This led her to explore yoga as a healing practice, becoming a certified yoga instructor in 2015. Blending this holistic perspective with her clinical expertise naturally guided Jaime toward a career in integrative family medicine.

She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Regis University in 2021. During her clinical training, she worked closely with practitioners at the Sound Clinic, including Sarah Tyler, NP, and Lyndsay Naylor, DO, where she refined her approach to whole-person, root-cause-focused care. Upon graduation, Jaime joined the Sound Clinic team as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

In 2024, Jaime was diagnosed with breast cancer — an experience that deepened her empathy, resilience, and commitment to healing. Now doing well, she shares her journey to offer hope, strength, and inspiration to others navigating health challenges. This experience also intensified her passion for hormonal health. She is especially focused on supporting women in understanding the powerful role hormones play in overall wellness, healing, and quality of life — particularly during times of stress, recovery, and change.

Jaime brings both clinical expertise and lived experience into every patient relationship, meeting others with compassion and a belief in the body’s ability to heal when given the right support.
