Holly DeLong chose to become a dietitian after discovering first-hand the powerful impact food has on our minds and body. Using a holistic approach, she was able to overcome a personal health crisis and find freedom from a chronic condition. She now works with clients to guide them towards the same amazing results. Holly has a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition from Drexel University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware. She completed her dietetic internship with Sodexo with a concentration in wellness and became registered with the commission of dietetics registration in 2020. Since then Holly has completed significant continuing education in gut health, nutritional psychiatry, and metabolic health. Holly joins Sound Clinic after moving from New Jersey where she ran a successful private practice called Food & Mood.
Holly DeLong is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who practices following an integrative and functional nutrition approach. Her specialty areas include gut health, mental health, heart health, hormonal health, weight management, and intuitive eating. With a background in Psychology and research, Holly is able to bring a unique counseling approach that explores psychosocial impacts to nutrition, as well as, provide mental health support. When necessary, Holly utilizes advanced laboratory testing to get to the root cause of your issues and create individualized treatment plans. She has extensive experience using specialized supplements and nutraceuticals to treat health challenges and optimize general health. Holly is a passionate and approachable provider who works with patients to create attainable and realistic goals for lasting change. Holly enjoys cooking, yoga, and exploring the great outdoors with her beloved pup, Piper.
