Alison Caffrey
Physician Assistant - Certified
Alison grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science through Central Michigan University and Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies through Grand Valley State University. Throughout her schooling, Alison quickly realized the importance of mental health, which closely aligned with physical health. These experiences helped Alison to become a more empathetic provider and develop a patient centered approach to health and wellness. She continues with her health and wellness journey, practicing her passions of yoga, hiking, travel, and trying new recipes.
Alison's experience as a Physician Assistant includes orthopedic urgent care and surgery, preforming various procedures and assisting in various surgeries in Honolulu, HI. She also practiced as an Internal Medicine provider in Kaneohe, HI, treating various acute and chronic conditions. She is eager to meet patients exactly where they are in their health and wellness journey.
With a background in orthopedics and internal medicine prior to joining Sound Clinic, Alison developed an interest in Integrative Medicine after experiencing patients being medicated, prior to any discussion on alternative treatments or lifestyle modifications. Alison incorporates Western medicine with an Integrative approach learned from the Sound Clinic Integrative and Functional Medicine Training program. She listens, takes time to understand each patient, and partners with them to achieve their health goals.
