Dr. Josh Krembs
Osteopathic Medicine Specialist
Josh Krembs, DO earned his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Southern Maine, and became Board-Certified through the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (AOBNMM) after completing residency training at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York City. He has been trained, through more than 15 years of extensive mentorship and coursework, in the subtle yet powerful Biodynamic approach to Osteopathic diagnosis and treatment, which allows for the precise correction of dysfunction in any body part or system with the most gentle technique.
Dr. Krembs supports his patients’ healing processes through hands-on Osteopathic Manual Treatment (OMT) and an extensive knowledge of nutritional biochemistry, micronutrient supplementation, and the use of powerful natural remedies. He is passionate about giving his patients tools to improve their self-care including postural, movement, and mindfulness/ meditation practices as well as some useful insights from the basic principles of Ayurveda.
Areas of particular interest include:
– Issues related to pregnancy – back and pelvic pain, sciatica, nausea, breech or transverse presentations, headaches, constipation, exhaustion, anxiety and sleeplessness.
– Treating newborns, infants and children – difficulty nursing, reflux, colic, fussiness, plagiocephaly, torticollis, shoulder dystocia, poor immunity, food sensitivities, asthma, allergies, vaccine reactions, sinus and ear infections, poor growth, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral issues and sleeplessness
– Treating adults with – sports injuries, arthritic pain, back/neck pain, pelvic pain, hip pain, headaches, indigestion, frequent infections, asthma, allergies, chronic sinusitis, autoimmune disorders, exhaustion, anxiety, depression and sleeplessness.
Dr. Krembs has extensive teaching experience, with hundreds of hours spent training medical students and residents in a private office setting. He is also a frequent lecturer on Osteopathic Principles and general health topics.
